About John E. Mulvaney

You know that feeling when you stumble across a story or a song that just gets you? That moment when the words leap off the page or the notes take you somewhere you’ve been before? Well, that’s exactly what drew me into writing and blogging in the first place. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a passion for storytelling, for finding those little details that make people feel something.

It all started back in my school days, where I was always scribbling down thoughts, songs, and ideas in the margins of my notebooks—usually when I was supposed to be doing something else! But it wasn’t just about getting the words down. Writing, for me, was a way to connect with others, to share a piece of my world in the hopes that someone else out there might see themselves in it.

After I finished school and dipped my toes into the real world, life got a little busy, as it tends to. You know how it is—work, responsibilities, trying to figure out how to balance it all. But even during the craziest of times, I always kept one foot in writing, even if it was just for me. Journals, blogs, half-finished pieces—it was a way to stay connected to that part of myself, even when life had other plans.

Eventually, I decided to take a leap of faith and start littlevoiceuk.com. It was my way of getting back into the creative flow, of putting those scribbles and thoughts into something that people could actually read. And let me tell you, it’s been a journey. Writing for Little Voice UK has given me the freedom to explore the things I love most—whether it’s diving into music, pop culture, or just musing about life’s quirks and challenges.

Now, as I’m a little further down the road (and a few grey hairs wiser), I’ve realized that writing isn’t just something I do—it’s something I need to do. It’s a part of me. And while I don’t have any grand plans to become a bestselling author, I can say that sharing my voice through Little Voice UK feels like exactly where I’m meant to be right now.

So, if you’re here and reading this, thank you. I hope, in some small way, my words give you something to think about, laugh at, or maybe even feel a bit understood. Because at the end of the day, that’s all we’re really looking for, right? A little connection, a little voice in the noise.

Thanks for joining me on this ride.
